How we’re helping
Jesus tells us to “Go”! Go into all the world and share the good news about the free gift of new life and new beginnings with God our creator. When we reach out with the Good News about Jesus, lives are encountered and transformed. Communities and cities are changed.
As a Church, we believe in expressions of God’s love both locally and abroad. Locally, we continue outreach (missions) by building Church Community through our Sunday services, connect groups, Real Men, Women of Worth, Ignite Youth, and C3 Cares.
Abroad, we have been building lasting outreach relationships with Papua New Guinea, Central Asia, and Zambia. Read more below.
And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation” (Mk. 16:15)
House of Hope Africa
C3 Shellharbour is supporting and praying for Michael and Christine Mesiti as they continue to share Christ’s love with the people of Zambia.
Michael and Christine relocated to Zambia from Perth in 2014. In 2016 Michael and Christine established House of Hope Africa as a Christian charity in Australia and Zambia. House of Hope aims to holistically and actively care for and empower the most vulnerable women, children, and families across Zambia and Africa. House of Hope has six key programs to meet the needs of the people of Zambia, including a food program. For $35 per month we can help feed a family of five healthy and nutritional food.
- provides a one month food supply to a family of 5
- is approved by a specialised nutritionist in Zambia
- consists of both perishable vegetables (cabbages, tomatoes etc) and longer lasting vegetables (beans, soya pieces);
- a 25kg bag of mealie meal (staple starch); salt; cooking oil
- hygienic products (soap, toilet paper etc)

Papua New Guinea
C3 Shellharbour has had the privilege of partnering with Pastor Debbie Gorro at Bushwarra Church just outside Port Moresby (also referred to as Pom City). Ps Debbie, and her late husband Ps Magi Gorro, were installing water pumps along with new Churches throughout Papua New Guinea. Bushwarra continues to be a thriving local Church.
